Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This summer we are making the most of the lack of Covid restrictions, celebrating some milestone birthdays and getting on our bikes for a good cause and not just as an excuse to eat more cake.

The Yorkshire Wold Challenge will see us cycle 144 miles over 2 days with a camp in the middle. This camp is likely to be the biggest challenge for some of us who haven't seen a tent peg in several years!

The ride is organised by Ryedale Special Families and is their major fundraising event for the year. Like many small charities the pandemic massively affected their fundraising abilities. They help and support the families of children and young people with disabilities and additional needs in Ryedale through social activities. For a first hand account of what they do please have a look here.

All money raised goes directly to the charity, we have all paid our own entrance and other fees and every penny will be well used.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks

Emma, Becky, Pauline, Beverley, Jacky and Rachel
