In October 2012 when I was 23 years old, I was diagnosed with Bowel cancer and needed a major operation within a week of diagnosis, followed by nearly a year of chemotherapy as my body reacted badly to it. Since then I have had to have several other operations relating to my original surgery.

Thankfully I was given my 5 years all clear from cancer in May of this year and wanted to celebrate this with my family and friends by doing a fundraiser. I wish to do this as Bowel Cancer UK, have supported me through this difficult time and I want them to continue to support people in the way they supported me.
