Story
On the 4th June 2011, I will be participating in the Blenheim Triathlon where I will be cycling 20km to raise money for Chain of Hope.
As many of you know, I have been working for Chain of Hope for the past 14 years with the aim of offering lifesaving cardiac surgery to children and young adults in the developing world. This is achieved through the fantastic support of an entire network of volunteers whose hard work and dedication to the charity makes these lifesaving surgeries achievable.
It is a little known fact that approximately 1 in every 100 children is born with a cardiac defect. With your vital contributions, we hope to offer these children and their families the opportunity to receive the help and treatment which we have come to take for granted in the UK today.
So please do dig deep and help to raise money for a charity which is extremely dear to my heart.
Emma
