Story
On 27th June 2007 my amazing and unforgettable grandad, Barry Rowbottom suddenly passed away at the tender age of 65 from a heart attack leaving behind many family and friends who all loved him very much. He fought to the last second but there was nothing the doctors could do as we watched him slip away from us.
Its been four years but we all still miss his love for life and family, and it is in his memory and for everyone else affected by Heart Disease that I will be raising money for The British Heart Foundation.
With our support the British Heart Foundations groundbreaking research could begin to literally 'mend broken hearts' in as little as 10 years' time. To find out more please go to http://www.bhf.org.uk/research/mending-broken-hearts.aspx
As most of you will be fully aware, I am not the most active person and this is a MASSIVE task for me, and I appreciate absolutely anything anyone can donate.
