Over the last few years I have completed 3 half marathons, Tough Guy and some obstacle courses/charity walks, in a bid to raise money and awareness for charities I have truly had a connection to.

This challenge will be the biggest I have ever faced, and I will be doing it for a truly special charity and a truly special person.

I am raising awareness and money for Arthritis Research UK, an amazing charity who are seeking ways to make life easier and better for those who are living with the constant challenge of having arthritis. My biggest inspiration for running for them, is all down to one of my best friends, Lisa. She is an absolute hero - she is one of the most selfless, caring, dedicated individuals I have ever met, and even when she is in pain due to her arthritis, she will always go the extra mile for you, no matter the cost to her personally.

I know when I get to 20+ and I reach my 'wall', I will have the biggest motivation to push on and get to the 26.2 mile finish line. Lisa is my inspiration to succeed and do well, along with being someone I look up to and aspire to be like.
