Back in June Chay suffered a retina detachment. We were all devastated. He was referred to Moorfields hospital and the specialist care and support they provided him was second to none. 

He had a long road to recovery and a long road of not being able to do what a normal 10 year old boy could do. He took this with such resilience and patience. From having to lie face down 24 hours a day for 7 days and going through the initial operation. He was such a trooper. 

I know without the care and the amazing work of Chays consultant he wouldn’t be where he is now. Back playing football and being a child again. 

I remember having a conversation with Chay after his operation, that he wanted to raise some money and give back to Moorfields so we are doing this walk to do exactly that.
