Story
After weeks on denial I am finally pounding the pavements again so that I
can run the Leeds Half Marathon in support of my very brave and inspirational
friend who is currently kicking cancers ass (and could easily run it faster than me), and in memory of my beloved dad who lost
his long fought battle with cancer 26 years ago.
Unfortunately I don't like running very much, and this course fills me with dread - the first half is mostly up hill and I am rubbish at running up hill - but I am determined to get round one way or another.
Please make my sore legs and embarrassingly red running face (see above) worthwhile and help me raise some money for Cancer Research UK to help find a cure for all forms of cancer.
