Last year we found out my Nan's bone marrow had stopped working. Ever since, she has been receiving treatment from the team that treat Leukaemia patients. I have been motivated to raise money for Leukaemia CARE as they are continually researching new ways to aid patients to recovery. By running the London Marathon it is my way of thanking the charity for everything they do, and to help my Nan to full recovery as well as anyone else receiving treatment. Donations, no matter how small, will go towards Leukaemia CARE so they can continue 'supporting a quality of life'.
