Story

This year I have decided to follow in my father's footsteps although slightly less ambitiously and run to raise money for a charity.  I chose Hope for Justice, who I have been supporting for 2 years as I believe in the amazing work they do in the UK, rescuing the victims of Human Trafficking. Hope for Justice also work towards bringing those responsible to court. The cause is an overwhelming one, as these statistics show.

  • 1.2 million children are trafficked every year, two every minute
  • The average age of a trafficking victim is just 14 years
  • $9.5 billion is made through human trafficking each year
  • The UN estimates that 80% of people trafficked are taken for sexual exploitation.

Hope for Justice are fighting to change this.  For more information check out their website.
