Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In April this year my best friend Katie - my sister in all but blood - took her own life at the age of 26. She had been diagnosed with high-functioning autism and spent time in hospital seeking treatment, but it was ultimately to no avail.
To honour her memory and show support for other sufferers of autism, including her younger brother, myself and my family will be hiking 3,560 ft to the summit of Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa). I am taking a stone from her final resting place in Hells Mouth - only 30 miles away - and carrying it to the highest point in Wales, at the heart of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Please help me to create something wonderful in the aftermath of this tragedy, and go on to help others on the autistic spectrum get the support and treatment they need.
