Story
Thank you so much for visiting my Just Giving Page. I decided to take part in TUF's trek to Machu Picchu because so many of my friends and family have been affected by urology issues and my husband, Steve, was the Chairman of TUF for 10 years. One in every two people will be affected by a urological cancer or condition in their lifetime, ruining hundreds of thousands of lives a year. Prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular and penile cancers effect nearly 75,000 new patients each year and bladder (including incontinence) and kidney problems affect up to a quarter of the population. TUF's mission is to succeed in the fight against all urology disease and a vision of a world where people will not die early from, or their quality of life will not be adversely affected by, urology disease. Working with researchers, urology and health care professionals they are improving the nations urology care. They are dedicated to beating all urology diseases through cutting-edge research and leading education and training to ensure that fewer lives will be devastated. However none of this can happen without funding so I really would be so grateful if you could sponsor me.
