Well after being totally inspired by this years marathon runners, someone decided to enter the London Marathon ballot, that crazy someone would be me! And I only went and got a place 😳

I haven’t ran properly since before my dad died over 2 years ago, so no idea why I even contemplated applying 🤦🏼‍♀️ not reading the small print I had thought I had a year to train but it’s in April 🤪

Wish me luck, think I’m gonna need it 🙌🏼

Working at Tourettes Action and seeing first hand the impact we have on people with Tourettes and their families, there is no better feeling, I honestly couldn't think of a better charity to support. Maybe a little bit biased but the work we do has such a lasting impact and any money raised will be used for great things.

Tourette's is massively misunderstood and unfortunately awareness is still lacking within the general public. Hearing stories from the TS community about how they struggle for acceptance and struggle to access medical care is heartbreaking. At Tourettes Action we are working extremely hard to raise awareness, improvement the medical provisions up and down the country and to provide ground level support. We want people with TS to receive the practical support and social acceptance they need to help them live their lives to the full.

Any money donated will ensure we can continue our amazing work 💚
