The temporary closure of Swan Lifeline in Windsor due to avian flu in early January - and the tragic loss of all 31 of the swans they were caring for - has meant that they have had many unforeseen costs due to the stringent DEFRA and APHA protocols. Their expenses have included everything from disinfectant, power washers & pumps to disposable bio-hazard clothing and netting.
Please support them in their re-opening campaign, so they can get back to doing what they do best - rescuing, treating and releasing swans.
They've rescued over 30,000 swans and cygnets so far. Help them to rescue another 30,000.
