London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025 · 6 April 2025 ·

We raise funds to make a difference to patients, staff and volunteers at HHFT

Story

I am running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Hampshire Hospitals Charity Forget Me Not Fund on 6th April.

Please add Fund number 4639 to any donations to ensure your donations goes straight to The Forget me Not Fund.

We lost our daughter River to Edwards syndrome at almost 20 weeks on 10th January.

Following her passing, Laura and the Midwives have scooped me up and held my hand throughout the most difficult period of my life.

The charity’s service have organised her funeral and cremation, funded counselling sessions, put me in touch with support groups, sent me a care package, called me weekly to check in, the list is endless.

I am forever grateful to the Forget Me Not Fund and it will be a privilege to run for them, and for River, with other bereaved parents and midwives.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Like so many other parents, they have helped me and my family dearly.

As you know, I love running, and when the opportunity came to me to run for this incredible charity I believe it was meant to be.
