Hi guys, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

Its only a few years ago my cousin Jamie enjoyed playing squash, footy with his boys, walking his dog Rocco, devouring an Akbars curry, even going to work (well maybe not "enjoyed" work all the time :-)) Since Jamie has been diagnosed with Motor Neurones disease,  all these daily activities which we take for granted have been taken away from him by this cruel disease. Jamie is now permanently in a wheelchair, unable to move his body and needs a ventilator to breath, he was diagnosed only 20 months ago. Luckily he has kept hold of his wicked sense of humour, cheeky smile and love of all spicy foods :-)

Motor neurone disease is a neurodegenerative illness which leads to weakness and wasting of muscles, loss of mobility and difficulties with speech, swallowing and breathing. Currently there is no cure for this disease.

It seems to me that because MND isn't that common, awareness needs to be raised in a massive way, so funding can continue into helping families with things to make life a little easier but even more important, into finding a cure!!

SO.............. this is why, in a moment of pure madness, i decided it would be an excellent idea to throw myself out of a plane to do just that, and i know that my super duper big cousin is jealous and would love to be doing it too, but doesnt think his doctors would be too happy about it haha :-) so i need to raise at least double my target cause im doing it for both of us!!!
