I am going to Peru this September to raise money for Parkinsons UK.

The lost city of Machu Picchu is located 2,450 meters high in the Peruvian Andes, my trek will take me to a height of 4,600 meters before coming back down to Machu Picchu.I will be trekking for up to 9 hours a day for 5 days straight

I am choosing to do this trek because 5 years ago my most wonderful Grandad, better known as 'Mog' was diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease.

I hope that by doing this I can not only raise some money for the charity but also make him as proud of me as we all are of him.
