When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My father had a severe stroke just over two years ago.  It has completely changed his life. I also look after stroke patients on a regular basis and am painfully aware of how disabling and life changing this can be. I want to give something back to the stroke association who are amazing at providing support and services. Please help me achieve this. I have never run a race as I've felt too nervous to do it, however what happened to my dad, and what I see on a regular basis has made me determined to give something back. Please sponsor me.
