We provide all-Wales emergency air cover to serve Wales & save lives 365 days a year

Story

Hello Everyone,

I am organising a sponsored walk in aid of the Wales Air Ambulance. The walk is talking place on the 7th April 2010 from Swansea University to Helimed Airbase in Swansea, which is the home to Helimed 57.

The walk is being done by Swansea University Year 2 Student Paramedics and we need all the help we can get to raise money for this worthy cause.

There is no target but obvioulsy the more money we can raise the better. This vital service needs over £5 million a year to keep 3 life saving helicopters running and the average job is on average £1200 so as you can see they need all the money they can get. Between the 3 helicopters based at Swansea, Caernarfon and Welshpool they can be anywhere in Wales in just 20 minutes.

Please just donate however much you can afford, EVERY penny counts.

Thank you all very Much,

Emma.
