Story

Many of you will be aware about my love of horses and how over the last 10 years due to ill health I have not been able to ride as much as I would like and then its only been a bit of gentle hacking out.  In 2013 I was diagnosed with breast cancer which I am glad to say currently I am still all clear, however it does change your perspective on life. I followed the story of Hannah and read how she battled through pain to continue with her dreams of becoming an event rider supported by the equestrian community, unfortunately she lost her battle in August. So here I am 48 years old and totally unfit and overweight and signed up to take on this challenge which will include dressage, show jumping and cross country. At the moment I don't know which horse I will ride but I can let you all know when I have decided. Can I ask you all to please donate to this fantastic charity that Hannah set up before she lost her battle and once I have donations it means I won't be able to back out!! Donations of alcohol beforehand also greatly received , I am sure I will need plenty of this in the build up to the event.
