Story
On 27th April 2000 my mum, Doreen, lost her battle with breast cancer. 10 years on, nearly to the day, I will be completing the Virgin London Marathon in her memory. Both my Dad and brother have run the marathon in the past and it was while I was watching Mark last year that I had the crazy idea that I too would complete one!
Those of you who know me well will know that this is a huge challenge for me as I'm not the most sporty person in the world but knowing that I would be making my mum proud (as well as probably giving her a damn good laugh!) and raising money for a very worthy cause will get me round.
So, I'm "Doing It For Doreen" and your support is very much appreciated.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
