Story
As a few of you already know, on 22 September I will be running the Oslo marathon. This is my first (and maybe only!) marathon and I would love your support. It's only a few weeks away now and I'm very nervous about the prospect of 26.2 miles!
I am running to raise money for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research in memory of my friend Gareth Crockett. Gareth was tragically killed last year while doing an unbelievable long distance cycling and running challenge to raise money for the charity. Gareth had set himself Belfast to London, 500 miles of cycling and four marathons. For me, one marathon is enough!
Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research is a fantastic charity that works to find treatments and cures for all types of blood cancers.
I have set myself a target of raising £1,000 for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. It would be wonderful to reach (or even get close to) this target and to continue the fundraising efforts that Gareth started.
Please support me if you can. I am hugely grateful for your pennies and your pounds.
Thank you
Emma
