I am taking on this massive challenge to raise money for Myeloma UK because for the past 13 months I have been working on a Student Placement as a Marketing Assistant in Takeda  UK Ltd. While I was there I was part of the launch of a drug which treats Multiple Myeloma. 

Multiple myeloma is the 2nd most common blood cancer in the UK and is currently incurable. 

Throughout the past year I have learnt about the impact of this disease on the lives of patients, as well as the important work organisations like Myeloma UK do to support patients suffering with the disease.  Myeloma UK have also set up numerous clinical trials in order to keep searching for a cure.
