The Great North Run, the Great South Run, and the Royal Parks Half · 15 September 2013

Rowans Hospice provides end of life care across South East Hampshire. We help improve quality of life for the patient around the clock. We receive a very small level of Government support and almost all of the money required to provide our services needs to be raised through voluntary giving.

Story

Ok, this year my fundraising for The Rowans is getting serious.

I am doing not one, but two half-marathons. I am also doing, for the second time, the 10 mile Great South Run.

That means between September 15 and October 28 I will be running a whopping 36.2 miles - and all for charity.

36.2 miles is the same as running from Portsmouth to Petersfield - and back! For my friends in Wales, it's pretty much like running from the centre of Swansea to the outskirts of Cardiff. It's far!

Rather than separate these events out and have to come begging for donations for each one, I thought doing them all in one hit would be good.

So please dig deep and help a crazy girl out.

xx
