Story
St Ann's Hospice is a charity which cares for thousands of local people with cancer and non-cancer life-limiting illnesses every year.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, I have decided to walk a marathon in a month. People who know me, will know I’m not in the best health or shape, so this will be a challenge for me! I blame Covid for the weight gain!
In April 2015, my mum was diagnosed with T Cell Lymphoma, which is a quite rare and under researched Cancer. She had a tough journey of treatment and fought with such strength, courage and dignity. Sadly she lost her battle on Christmas Day 2016. She passed away in St Ann’s Hospice.
The hospice provided such wonderful care for both my Mum in her final days and all the family at such a difficult time. I can’t ever thank them enough but what I will continue to do is raise money for such a wonderful cause.
I am therefore asking for your kind support by donating what you can to enable me to raise much needed funds for St Ann’s, especially in these difficult times when fundraising is tough because of Covid 19!
This is for you Mum, loved and missed beyond words xxx
