The Three Peaks Challenge · 23 May 2015

The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) is farming’s oldest charity working across England and Wales. Our aim is that no-one from the farming community should face adversity alone. We provide tailored advice, access to counselling, practical and financial support, and so much more.

Story

Welcome to my fundraising page for the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (R.A.B.I).

I was looking for a challenge which would not only test me but help me to raise funds for an amazing Farming Charity who support over 2000 farming families every year who may find themselves financial difficulty.  Please do take a look at their website to find out about the tremendous work the RABI has carried out for over 154 years and the work they continue to do today for the future. http://www.rabi.org.uk/seeking_help/

Many of you will already know by now that the challenge I chose to raise funds for the RABI was The National Three Peaks Challenge, which involves climbing the three highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland, all within 24 hours!

So when I first created my just giving page I was just over four weeks away the 3 Peaks Challenge, unbelievably we are now just 1 day away - we leave tomorrow.
Excited and nervous all at once...!

...Proud to announce we did it! - we achieved the Three Peaks Challenge in 24 hours - through wind, rain, snow and a little bit of sun - plus an extra challenge when the mini bus broke down!

I can't thank everyone enough for their kind sponsorship, I smashed my target of £1000, with such great support I reached £1230!
Thank you so so much for supporting me in my bid to raise funds for the RABI.
