I am lucky to be apart of the Epilepsy Society's incredible Team Purple & will be dedicating days, weeks and months to fundraising and training for this iconic 26.2 mile running event to change the lives of people affected by epilepsy across the UK a few of those lives are some very close friends of mine. 

Their research conducted by the society will enable those with epilepsy to receive the right diagnosis, at the right time and receive the right medication and care.

The epilepsy society also provide information and emotional support via our helpline for people with epilepsy, their families, friends and professionals.

One special family friend of mine have used the services for a number of years with their daughter who has had epilepsy since a being a tiny tot, they have had ups and downs tantrums, smiles, trials and tribulations, trips up and down the A14 to Addenbrooks hospital and dealt withhaving to say possibly more frequently than they would of liked to with their daughter but she has grown into a wonderful young lady who has agreed to share her story  a little later in the month. 

This is for me to say THANKYOU to my friends for the support and love they give it will drive me on at mile 20 when i will probably want FIZZ rather than another 5 miles.
