Im running the Great Yorkshire Run (10k) on Sunday 9 October in aid of Parkinsons UK.  My dad, the one & only Mr Hughie Haughey, suffered with this illness before he died a few years ago. 

Anyone who knows me may well be shocked at me doing this running thingy - as I have been the consummate couch potato, fag in one hand & red wine in the other!  Oh, how times have changed.  At least 3 times a week I can be seen running around the streets of Doncaster with my dog, Big Tess at 6.00am!

I am running the Great Yorkshire Run with my mum, Kay Case, who also took up running 4 months ago, aged 63 and a half!
