We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

In October, I've decided to take on an incredible challenge: trekking up Mount Snowdon at night! I bet you're wondering about the motivation behind all of this, right? 🏔️

Last December, my mum was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimers at the young age of 61. It is a cruel disease at any age, but it feels even more heartbreaking to see my mum go through this when she should be enjoying life to the fullest.

That's why I've decided to do something meaningful.

I had this crazy idea of doing a skydive, but let's say my mum wasn't too thrilled about it (maybe I'll save that for another time!). So, instead, I'm teaming up with my partner, Chris, to conquer Mount Snowdon at night. And here's the bonus: our kids might think we're pretty cool for climbing a mountain.

🔬 We're raising funds for Alzheimer's Research UK, an organisation dedicated to revolutionising how we understand, diagnose, and prevent Alzheimers.

The challenge ahead won't be easy. Snowdon is the highest mountain in England and Wales, standing tall at 1085m! We'll trek for 8 hours, covering 21km of diverse terrain under the night sky. ⛰️

Your donation, no matter the size, will have a tremendous impact. Please help us move closer to a world without Alzheimers.

🙏 Thank you for taking the time to read about our adventure.

Together, we can make a difference.
