Emma and Lorna’s mum Iris is just recovering from Breast Cancer. SHE BEAT IT!!!  Iris has beaten this horrible, frightening and destructive disease with tons of help and support from Breast Cancer Care and the NHS. Iris is incredibly brave and like many many women before her has fought breast cancer with great dignity. 

Karen’s best friend has also just BEATEN breast cancer. She was only 25 when diagnosed with grade 3 cancer (very aggressive). She has been an absolute inspiration to us all and after many months of gruelling treatment the future is looking much brighter

Emma, Nick (Emma’s Husband) and Iris own the Velvet Lifestyle Stores in Brighton and Hove and http://www.velvetstore.co.uk/. Karen is the Area Manager and Buyer for Velvet and Lorna used to work at Velvet for many years and is now a teacher. Velvet will be doing many fundraising activities throughout the year and raising money in store. To start the ball rolling we are donating £150 on this page.

We just want to help Breast Cancer Care help these women we love and thousands of women like them.
