Meet the boys….

Hi my name is Humphrey and I am 11 years old. I have raised money for Unicef for the last 3 years doing various things and now I want to have as many friends with me to run a mile a day to help raise as much money as possible for the children ( and families) in Ukraine. I cannot imagine what it must be to live where they are right now. They are living a nightmare 😢. I am hoping that my friends and I can run everyday for 30 days ( starting 2nd March), we will run on our own mostly and get our friends and family to donate to this page ( all the money goes straight from here to Unicef) and sometimes we can run together, we will definitely need to encourage each other!!! It may not seem much to run a mile a day but personally I’m not a runner and I am so busy doing all my other sports and clubs I’m going to have to really squeeze in the time to complete this challenge… for me I HAVE to make the time because it’s nothing compared to what is going on in their worlds 💔💔 hopefully me doing my bit and my friends doing their bit will escalate in a positive way. My name is Fletcher and I am 11. For the last 6 years my family have helped a family in Ukraine who have suffered the ongoing affects of the Chernobyl disaster in 1986.
The Charity works in a region of Ukraine called Borodyanka which was the most recent region to suffer devastation from the Russian invasion.
We support our family Mariya, Dima and Vova who live here.
I want to do everything I can to not only support our family but all the other Ukranian families that have had to live with the Chernobyl disaster, the Covid pandemic and now a war!
They have lost everything their homes and loved ones.
If we all do a little bit to help it will make a BIG difference to their lives.
I suffer a condition with my feet which means I struggle alot with pain when exercising so running a mile everyday as well as playing for my football team is going to be a huge challenge so please support me and my friends in any way you can!

Hi I’m Pip and I am 7, my brother is Humphrey and we don’t really do or like the same things, so this is probably the first thing we will do together!!! I wanted to raise money for children and everyone in Ukraine because my friend has family who lives there and they can’t leave because of the war. It makes me really sad that there are so many people who are having to try and live there . I cannot imagine how bad it must be. Me doing a mile a day is going to be quite tough as I’m not used to running!!!! Thank you for helping us by donating to Unicef 💙

My name is Harry I am 11. I wanted to join Humf in this mission to raise money for the children of the Ukraine. He is hoping to inspire others to raise money for this cause and I will support my  best friend in every way i can. 💙

Hi I am Jude and I am 11. I am excited to be running a mile a day for the children and families of Ukraine. Seeing the children of Ukraine on the news in such a scary world, makes me so sad and worried. I am from a big family with 4 siblings. I don’t know how these children must be feeling. So I want to do all I can to help contribute to the money UNICEF are raising. I am no way a runner and think it will be a big squeeze to fit the run in everyday so please donate as much as you can to support us and give us motivation.
