South Coast Ultra Challenge 2022 · 3 September 2022 to 4 September 2022 ·
Before 2011 I wasn't aware of what the Marie Curie charity did, of course I had seen the annual daffodils on sale during their Great Daffodil Appeal.
But when my amazing dad needed support with end of life care, Marie Curie were there. Sadly since then we have needed their support on several occasions, most recently in 2021 for my lovely father-in-law.
I have been a volunteer with the Poole Marie Curie group for a while now, and all money raised through this group goes towards supporting local people.
As we all know the past couple of years have been a tricky time for charities to raise much needed funds, that's the reason I have decided to take on the South Coast Challenge - a 57km trek with my Bestie (well that and they promise a glass of Prosecco at the end!). If you can spare any funds I'd be very grateful!
Much Love Emma x
