My dad and I are taking part in a trek along the Inca Trail from Cusco to Macchu Picchu in Peru in May 2011.

We are raising money for Velindre Cancer Care Hospital in Cardiff, where my dad was a patient following a diagnosis of prostate cancer. Thanks to the care he received at Velindre he is now in remission. Together we are hoping to raise £7000 for the hospital to enable them to carry on the great work they do.

The Inca Trail is a tough high altitude trek and we will be walking for 6-9 hours a day for 5 days to reach Macchu Picchu.
