Story
In 2019, I suffered a brain injury which resulted in short term memory loss and extreme fatigue. This greatly impacted my life and mental health as no 19 year old wants to experience something like this that will affect their life long term. Over the last couple of years Acquired Brain Injury Ireland have provided me invaluable support in coping with my new life after brain injury. I am very grateful to be in a position to do this, as there is not much awareness around brain injury with it sometimes being an invisible injury.
I am ready to raise some funds by dropping 190 feet to support the work of Acquired Brain Injury Ireland!I will be abseiling down the iconic Skyview Tower in Smithfield, Dublin on Saturday, April 29th 2023.19,000 people a year acquire a brain injury around the country with approximately 150,000 people living with one. Acquired Brian Injury Ireland help rebuild lives after brain injury. Empowering people to live to their full potential.
This is only possible through donations and our support. Acquired Brian Injury Ireland passionately serve and relentlessly advocate to empower and support people impacted by brain injury to rebuild their lives. What they want is a society where brain injury is understood and all those impacted receive world-class, personalised rehabilitation and support, as and when they need it.Please donate to my Abseil for Brain Injury and support these brain injury survivors.
