Oh My God! I'm running the marathon! Well I'm hoping to complete it in one piece and I'm sure the old 'Dodd Family Competitiveness' will get me through!!

I'm running for Sue Ryder Care who provide care for end of life and long term care needs. They are a VERY worthwhile charity and anyone who has been unfortunate enough to lose a loved one through cancer, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, Huntington's and Parkinson's disease, stroke or dementia may have come into contact with one of their amazing carers. 

Unfortunately my much loved Grandma lost her fight against throat and mouth cancer last year and the people from Sue Ryder Care were brilliant at making sure she was as comfortable as possible.  I am forever grateful. 

This one's for you Grandma! :) I know you'll be pushing me in those final miles!
