Story
Hi!
Thanks for taking a look at my fundraising page! I've never done anything as mad and difficult as a marathon, so I'm grateful for your interest and support...
There will undoubtedly be blood, sweat and tears aplenty between now and April, so thank goodness it's for such a good cause. Please read a bit about what Centrepoint do, and if you would like to support their work, I'd be grateful for any donation you can make.
Have you been walking past a young vulnerable person sleeping rough and felt torn and confused about how you can help them? I know I have, countless times, and I know that by supporting Centrepoint I'll be doing the best I can to help. Centrepoint is the UK's leading charity for homeless young people, supporting 10,000 young people every year. They help 16-25 year olds into a safe place to live, give them a health assessment and plan support for their individual mental and physical health needs. They support from all angles, providing education and life skills that better prepare young people for independent living once they've left their Centrepoint accommodation, and improve their chances of finding a job.
If that sounds like a good thing to you, please have a look below at how you can donate. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you.
Emma
P.S. Paddy is also running the marathon, supporting Marie Curie. If one of your loved ones has received the support of Marie Curie during a terminal illness, you'll know first hand what a huge difference they make. If you'd like to support Paddy and Marie Curie too, please visit his page here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/paddydaniell
