Story

The reason I have made this page is in memory of my beautiful mum, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010. She underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy, as well as having a double mastectomy operation. She remained good humoured throughout her treatments, and stayed positive and the family was overjoyed when mum was given the all clear in 2012. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer a few months later, and underwent a further course of chemotherapy to improve the quality of her remaining life.

My mum sadly passed away on the 27th june 2012 after losing her second battle with cancer. She was the single biggest inspiration in my life, and I have decided that I want to shave my head in memory of her, with the aim of helping to raise breast cancer awareness, and also to help raise some much needed money for charity. Which brings me back to why I created this page, I created it to ask that you dig deep and donate as much as you can afford, even a few pence will help towards beating cancer, and will help breast cancer care to help provide the high level of care, benefits, and information to cancer sufferers worldwide.

The day I got the phonecall to say my mums health had deteriorated, my heart sank. I'm so grateful for the time I got to spend with my mum in her last few hours, it will be something I will cherish forever. You may be gone mum but you will never be forgotten. Love you to the end of the Earth and back xxxx

Thanks for taking the time to read my page, stay tuned for my pictures of my shaved head and hopefully together we can achieve my modest target.
