Pulling a car for 24 hours · 2 March 2020

St Richard’s Hospice is an independent charity offering free, expert care for adults with an illness that cannot be cured, and support for their loved ones and carers. Each year the hospice team supports more than 3,100 patients, family members and bereaved people in Worcestershire.

Story

Well, hello and welcome to my JustGiving page :)

I am attempting a Guinness World Record for the farthest distance pulling a vehicle in 24 hours. Basically, I'm pulling a 1.5 ton car - it can't move without me - and I have a day to move it as far as possible. I can take breaks but, if I snooze, I lose (time).

The Three Counties Showground are very generously letting me use their flat tarmac. I will be raising money for St Richard's Hospice which is a cause very close to their heart and mine.

St Richard's Hospice provides FREE expert care & support for adults affected by serious progressive illnesses. It would be amazing to do some good alongside the craziness.

I am incredibly grateful for your donations. There are two ways you can get involved:

  • Guess the total distance I will pull over the 24 hours. £5 a guess and closest guess wins a prize. Just put your guess (in km or miles, but state which) in the message box.

  • Have your logo prominent as we facebook livestream the entire event. We will be filming from inside the vehicle and will be using stickers outside the windowscreen . Only 6 slots available. They will be continuously visible as we film. Minimum donation of £50 each. Contact me.
