Story
One of the most exciting things in life is taking on new challenges and experiencing new things, as well as being able to really make a difference to others and a contribution to society.
> This is why I’m so excited to be part of the Warwick Uni team that will be Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in September 2012 in order to raise money for our chosen charity, mine being PRACTICAL ACTION.
- Practical action for those of you that aren't aware is an amazing charity that works with local communities in developing countries, finding technological solutions to poverty problems.
- If you have a spare minute in your day I’d definitely recommend taking a look at their website (http://practicalaction.org/welcome-to-practical-action) to truly appreciate all the amazing and life changing work that they do.
> The expedition itself will be a huge personal challenge for me, as well as reaching my goal of raising at least £2500 for the charity by August 2012, but I hope that you will be able to support me in this challenge and to help me raise money and awareness of this fantastic cause.
> Every little really does help and does make a difference, so if you are able to make a donation it will be very much appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read about my upcoming adventure, and I’ll update the page with all my other fundraising activities as they commence.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
