Story
Hello there! This year, from April 13th-20th I am off on an exciting adventure hitch hiking to Krakow, Poland for Sheffield RAG. Its hardcore stuff and I'm a bit scared but your donations will make it all worthwhile! There will be tough times, getting there with just a £15 travel budget 0.0 so raid those piggy banks, purses and down the couch for anything you can give to go to some great causes!
If you don't know anything about Bummit, go here:
Money raised this year will be going to seven great charities, some local, some international:
Sheffield User Survivor Trainers (SUST) - provides support to those suffering with mental health problems, and in turn encourages those it helps to become trainers themselves. http://yourvoicesheffield.org/etc1/
Doncaster Rape and Sexual Abuse Counselling Service - offers free on-to-one counselling to victims of rape and sexual abuse. http://www.drasacs.org/
Operation Florian - an international charity providing equipment and and training to improve firefighting capabilities in areas of the world most in need. Bummit is hoping to raise enough money to pay for a new fire engine! http://www.operationflorian.com/
S.A.L.V.E. International - helping orphaned and abandoned children on the streets of Uganda. http://www.salveinternational.org/
KIDS - Offering services to disabled children and their parents in Sheffield and surrounding areas. http://www.kids.org.uk/
