Story

I'm Emma Cameron, head and neck Clinical Nurse Specialist at Wythenshawe Hospital. I'll be running the London Marathon on Sunday 23rd April for MENTORS (Manchester Ear, Nose and Throat Oncology Recovery Support)!

We are a team of doctors, nurses, speech therapists, dieticians, managers and patients who have decided to make the experience of those going through the management of head and neck cancer more bearable.

Mentors exists to provide a community for those affected by head and neck cancer and those who are by their side.

Mentors come together for garden parties, coffee mornings and informal get togethers to spend time together outside of the clinical environment. Fundraising makes sure these events continue to be free for our patients and families.

We are based at Wythenshawe Hospital and The Christie but our patients come from throughout the North West and beyond. With mentors, all are welcome.

Our charitable fund falls under the umberella of MFT Charity.
