Story

George, Rob and I are taking part in the 7.5km Blackpool Night Run  along with our gorgeous friends the Dempsey’s and raising sponsorship for the Fylde Coast's only Children's Hospice!

Brian House supported our friends and their beautiful daughter Olivia after she was diagnosed with DIPG diffuse Intrinsic pontine glioma in October 2020 a rare childhood Brain tumour, Brian House provided support and care for Olivia and her family throughout her treatment and sadly through end of life care.

Brian House care for local children with very complex needs and life-limiting conditions. Children aged from 0-16 years can be referred to Brian House, with families having access a wide range of services dependent upon need. The services available at Brian House are provided completely FREE of charge can include planned respite care, symptom control, nursing and practical care and bereavement support (including use of the Butterfly Suite: a purpose built space where families can take time to say goodbye to their child after they have died).£21.42 if enough to cover an hour of specialist nursing care for a life limited child £31.12, the cost of a trained specialist to run a support group for families £135.92 would allow us to run the whole of Brian House for a full hour Thank you for your support!
