I've been circuit training with Anna for over 5 years now and when she asked me if I was up for a challenge - I automatically said "yes" without even asking - WHAT!

5 minutes later realisation began to set in - but with the thought of supporting the Cotswold Care Hospice www.cotswoldcare.org.uk/ , I had no hesitation in sticking with my original committment.

The aim is to canoe theThames in just over 5 days, rowing approx 20 - 25 miles a day.

Anna's original plan was to camp........well that was never going to happen! So, having taken control of hotel booking (including a couple of spa's), our trip is planned and we're ready for the off.

We're starting on June 2nd and finishing on June 7th - Jubilee week - so if you know of anyone having a party on the Thames that week - encourage them to take pity on 2 weary canoeist as they go by.....I hear champagne is good for rowing!
