Story
Most are aware that in the early hours of 5th Nov 2016, after going into spontaneous early labour (at just 21 weeks) I gave birth to my 2nd daughter Baby Jo.
Although we weren't able to bring her home we were given a memory box, that had been donated to RVI by a charity called 4Louis; which runs solely on donations.
Included in this box, amongst various other things (candles, teddybear, forget me not seeds) are pictures of her and also her hand & foot prints, which were kindly taken by hospital staff at the time, using special ink pads, cameras & printers also given by 4Louis.
Most of you won't be aware that every birthday, Christmas etc I buy something little to go in this box.
This year however I'm buying into a commitment (along with a few friends; Catherine Young, Ciaran Fitzsimons, Dawn Beadnell, Jade Paice, Rachel Bodys aka Middlemiss, Samantha Starkie & Tony Young) of completing 13.1miles in GNR 2019, to help raise awareness & money; in order to be able to provide a Cuddle Cot to a hospital or a funeral directors that needs one, in Jo's memory.
Now admittedly there's probably going to be more walking than running taking part but I will complete it.
So between now & Sept I'll be on the hunt for sponsors; if you're able to sponsor 1p, £1, £10, £10million or anything inbetween that would be great.
Thank you all in advance!!
