I am running the Ryal Parks Half Marathon on the 9th October 2011.  I am running on behalf of the British Heart Foundation as it is a charity that is very important to me and my family.

My brother Stephen died of undiagnosed heart disease two years ago.  Supporting the BHF helps promote awareness of heart disease, hopefully encouraging others to be screened or tested for heart disease to prevent a premature death.
