I'VE DONE IT!

Last Sunday I completed the Amsterdam Marathon in 4 hrs and 28 mins - much faster than I hoped.  I have Vim the 4 hrs 30 mins pacemaker to thank for that.  I found it really tough going at about 30kms and he took it upon himself to drag me round.  After an ice-cold bath and numerous ice-cold beers I felt pretty perky - really!

Thank you to everyone who has sponsored me.  You have all been so incredibly generous.  Thanks too for all the emotional and practical support I've received - especially Tom who has done lots of early morning childcare while I've been pounding the streets and who cheered me on all the way on the day.  I couldn't have done it without you, Love!

Although the race is over, it's not too late to sponsor me.
