Tammy and Emma have decided to take on the Gruelling 26.2 Miles of Virgin virtual London Marathon to take place in October, as you can imagine this is a mighty task and takes many weeks of training and preparing both physically and mentally for the event.

 Emma is brand new to running but has already adapted to the challenge under the watchful eye of Tammy who is an experienced runner having taken part in many half marathons and one other marathon. The girls work at the Colchester Hospital Pathology Service Desk and can often be seen leaving work fully kitted up for a training run.

Tammy and Emma will be running for the Blossom Appeal and any funds raised will go towards helping to build a new Breast Care Centre. This charity is dear to the girl’s hearts both having close friends touched by breast cancer and without the support of all the staff involved in their care would not be here today.
