Story
At the start of 2022, after experiencing some health concerns, I was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour (NET).
Although I am currently well, I remain under the care of the gastroenterology team at Ysbyty Gwynedd and also the NET specialist unit in Liverpool.
I am truly grateful for the support I have received from the NHS staff teams involved in my care since my diagnosis, both at Ysbyty Gwynedd and also from the NET specialist team at Liverpool.
For this reason, I am hoping to raise some money for the endoscopy and gastroenterology departments at Ysbyty Gwynedd. I also plan to raise funds in aid of the Neuroendocrine Cancer UK charity for all of their work supporting the neuroendocrine cancer community and raising awareness of this condition.
I will be running the London Marathon in 2024 and would be most grateful for any and all donations in aid of the above.
