 On Sunday 20th March, I'm running the Stafford Half Marathon and as most of you know, this is going to be a bit of a challenge for me. I've even had to give up the booze and the burgers!!!

I have been training hard and hope to raise as much money as possible for the North Staffs Kidney Patient Association (NSKPA),  a local charity which provides support for patients with end stage renal failure and their carers. 

The charity is totally independent and relies on donations to be able to help and provide equipment for use at home, especially for patients with mobility problems.

They provide wheel chairs, stair lifts, scooters, BP monitors, scales and any other equipment needed to make a patients life easier. They also provide holiday insurance for patients to enable them to travel abroad.

As many of you already know, my Mum has end stage renal failure, and so this is a charity very close to our hearts.
