Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity by riding a 10 mile course across the beautiful scenery of Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park and to make it a bit more fun in Fancy Dress.

For the past 40 years Carol and Caroline from Wimbledon Village Stables have been running an annual sponsored ride which is the longest running, most successful sponsored ride in the country. Raising more than £500,000 over the years for various national and local charities.

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity is dedicated in making this happen. They are a world-leading cancer centre, pioneering new treatments that saves lives. The Royal Marsden Hospital has developed a positive partnership with patients to help them deal with their cancer. Through this, patients not only receive the latest treatments, but also rehabilitation and assistance at all levels. Every effort is made to enable patients to carry on normal activities as far as possible and to maximise their quality of life. It is a supportive environment in which information, communication and the care provided are focused on the needs of each individual patient and their family. Support The Royal Marsden and you've invested in a future beyond cancer for you and for everyone you know.
