Next September I'm taking part in the Peaks of the Balkans trek to raise money for Unseen. Unseen is a charity committed to working towards a world without slavery.

It is currently estimated that there are 136,000 individuals affected by modern slavery and human trafficking across the UK, and 40.3 million across the globe. Unseen supports survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking to rebuild their lives, helping them to escape their situation through the use of the Modern Slavery & Exploitation Helpline and taking care of them in safehouses. To do this unseen require lots of funding which is why I'm taking on this challenge to raise money to help. 

The Balkans trek is a 10 day expedition through many different terrains of Albania, Montenegro and Kosovo, with multiple peaks over 2000m to be conquered on the route. I'm looking forward to taking on this challenge and supporting this incredible cause.
